The Role

Full time, permanent position.

8.00am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday, all year round


We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Finance Assistant to work as part of a small team, delivering a high-quality finance service to colleagues, parents and the wider school. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the transition to a new Finance system and to help ensure continuing high quality service delivery post implementation.

 

Working closely with the Finance Manager and Finance Officer, the successful candidate will need to possess a ‘can do’ attitude, have an eye for detail, be well organised and a good team-player.


The successful candidate will ideally have GCSE Maths and English and experience in Microsoft applications (excel, word, outlook).


Part Qualified AAT or with equivalent experience and be experienced in using sales and purchase ledger systems would be desirable but not essential.


Salary for the role will be £25,397 per annum. However, if the successful candidate is under the age of 21, the salary will be adjusted in line with the applicable minimum wage rates for their age group, in accordance with current UK employment legislation.
